Payment intent

At the core of Payins functionality lies the key concept of Payment Intent, an entity that encompasses all aspects related to the payment process.

Each Payment Intent represents a specific attempt to make a payment, which could be associated with a Payer or not.

This entity ranges from the details of the Payer initiating the payment to the selection of their preferred Payment Instrument, the payment recipient (Merchant), and specific details such as currency, amount, and description, among others.

Each Payment Intent has a status indicating its current or final outcome. A "Successful" status confirms that the payment was made correctly, while a "Requires Action" status signals cases where the payment did not go through and intervention is needed. Additionally, there are other statuses that reflect various stages of the payment process, providing a detailed view of the transaction's progress.
